Recent Projects
Earlier this year, 300 solar powered radios were given to the four radio stations in Burkina Faso. These radios are fixed-tuned to the local Christian radio station and also contain parts of the Bible, translated into the local language. They are distributed to families in the area who need them.
In 2005, a local pastor had a vision of a Christian radio station that would reach his town in Mali and the surrounding villages. On March 24, 2018, the vision was realized as the radio signed on the air. The station’s signal covers 75-100 miles, broadcasting to villages that are unreached with the Gospel.
A Christian recording studio that GMV financially supports in Mali has successfully produced 100 radio shows called the The Way of Righteousness. These shows were translated from the written French into written Bambara and then audio recorded. The Way of Righteousness radio shows are now being distributed to the radio stations in Mali & Burkina Faso. The next project for the recoding studio is producing 90-minute radio programs that include a combination of music and preaching.
